Hannemann music carries a wide variety of products:
----- Cd albums and books by Richard Hannemann;
----- Band, Orchestra, and "Folk" (guitars, banjos, mandolins, etc) Instruments; Hannemann Music is the local Los Alamos Conn-Selmer dealer of Band and Orchestra Instruments and supplies. We also carry products distributed by Music Link, European Crafts and other distributors and manufacturers.
----- Supplies and accessories for all instruments;
----- Printed sheet music for all instruments including the band and orchestra books required by the Los Alamos Public Schools.
We don't sell pianos, but we do carry the music.
Payment policy: Instruments can get pricey and we recognize that not everyone can simply write a large single check. Hannemann Music does not sell anything "on the web" -- you will have to call -- nor do we take credit cards. Nor do we do "rent - to - own".
However, we do offer payment terms of between 3 - 4 months at no additional charge. This applies only to new instruments with a retail value of over $500.
Rentals: Hannemann Music does rent instruments -- locally in Los Alamos, and to Northern New Mexico. We do not do "rent - to - own". The only long - term rental is for students for the school year. It is a single payment rental to be paid at the beginning of the school year. However, though this is a straight rental fee, and should not be construed otherwise, the customer may apply the fee to the purchase of an instrument if that purchase is made prior to the end of the school year. Otherwise the instrument returns to Hannemann Music.
A student summer rental is also available.
Monthly rentals are short-term only.
Current student rentals are:
Flutes, clarinets, trumpets, violins,and bell kits = $80.00 for the school year, $60.00 summer
Trombones and violas = $80.00 school year, $60 summer.
Saxophones and French horns = $150.00 school year, $75 summer.
Basic supplies are provided with rented instruments.
Any needed, normal, repairs which arise during the rental period will be done free if done in our shop.
